There's defintiely something to be said about making the best of a situation and Amanda + Russ did just that during their Fall engagement session. Like so many of our couples who are out of state, we set up their date in October for their engagement session and kept our fingers crossed for good wetaher since they couldnt reschedule, we had a ton of ideas and a few locations that would keep us outdoors for most of the shoot.
What made this so much fun is that while the weather DID hold off for most of the shoot, the skeis did decide to open up right at the end of the shoot and of course when we were caught out with no umbrellas! Instead of being uptight about it, Amanda asked if I had seen the Notebook and I knew exactly waht she was thinking! Which was how we turned waht could have been a bummer of time on their engagement shoot into one of the most fun shots that I captured last year!
Amanda + Russ, thanks for being good sports about it all! It was well worth it!
